John and John are competing in the Wallasey Motor Club Navigational Scatter Rally Championship this year.
After a last minute phonecall John agreed to navigate in the first round of the season and lets just say the rest is history.
The nav runs are being competed in John s (Driver) white Vauxhall Combo Diesel van which is entertaining to say the least. It holds its own though and is doing well up to now.
Round 1 - Cheshire - Monday 16th March 2009
Round 1 went well as it was our first attempt at this kind of event. A plot recorded in the wrong box on the results sheet and an M recorded instead of an N were our only faults but it did mean we lost points and ended up in last place but it is a learning curve and we will be out to rectify this in the next round.
Round 1 - 6th Position from 6 Crews
Round 2 - North Wales - Monday 6th April 2009
Round 2 was a vast improvement and with being on home turf the local knowledge paid off and helped us immensley. We were the only crew to take on the hilly Moel Famau route but it paid off and we managed to pick up a few high scoring plots. No recording issues this time out meant we managed to avoid last position.
